NGCDC, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to facilitate small business development through business financing assistance.  NGCDC, Inc. works on behalf of small businesses to provide financing for their start-ups and expansions, information and referral services, and technical assistance.  The NGCDC, Inc. can package, close, and service loans statewide, but its primary service area is the sixteen county Northwest Georgia area (click on Service Area above).

The North Georgia Regional Development Center (NGRDC) serves as the administrative entity and staff for the NGCDC, Inc.  The NGRDC works with the NGCDC to make loans under the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 program, the NGRDC's Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program, and other business financing services when available.

The NGCDC operates under the guidance of a Board of Directors elected by the NGCDC's corporate members from the six-county region.  The Board approves loans and guides the goals and operations of the NGCDC.  The NGCDC Board and corporate membership consists of local officials, community business leaders, and private lenders who voluntarily contribute their time and expertise to the NGCDC programs.
